Also known as: speed matching shapes, same or different, match the previous shape

You have to keep the previous shape in mind, compare the new one with it and answer right away. The higher the level, the more features you have to check, and the non-matching shapes often differ in just one of them.
Sign up and your rounds are saved: you see your score, correct answers, mistakes, level and best streak.
In one minute, the faster you compare, the more answers you give.
Hold the previous shape in mind while you look at the new one.
Shape, color and fill are checked together.
A mistake costs a point and breaks your streak.
Press “Start”. The first shape appears; just memorize it.
Then shapes come one at a time. Compare the new one with the previous one: same or different?
Press “Yes” or “No”. On a computer you can use the arrow keys: ← no, → yes.
Six correct answers in a row move you up a level: first only shape matters, then color, then fill. A mistake drops you one level.
A correct answer earns as many points as your current level, and a mistake costs one. After one minute you’ll see your result.
Compare each shape with the previous one. Play 10 minutes a day with no sign-up.

Comparing the current item with the previous one is a simple format for processing speed tasks. Here difficulty grows through features: the more of them there are, the more carefully you have to look.
If you want to hold more than one step back in memory, try N-back. And Shape Rotation adds comparing shapes while turning them in your mind.

Suitable from age 6: at level one only the shape needs comparing. For kids, difficulty doesn’t go above level two.
The round moves at a fast pace. If quick answers tire you out, start with Mini Sudoku or Missing Piece, where you can think at your own pace.
